The organization—dedicated to helping families transition out of crisis through health and wellness, housing, and youth development—saw impressive results by giving donors more ways to support their mission. They call it the “trifecta of satisfaction,” and it’s essentially these three pillars: 1. Autonomy: I am in charge of what I do, and I make meaningful decisions. 2. Competence: I am effective in what I do. 3. Relatedness: I have close, affectionate relationships with others.
