The 111 Main office building, and 95 State are both epic backdrops for this event! Kudos to AIA Utah and each team of designers for your annual support of the #Utahfoodbank through this event. #architectureutah #givingbacktoutah
CANstruction is a charity event using the creative spirit of a design competition to aid in the fight against hunger. Seven teams designed and built structures made entirely out of canned food. At the end of the exhibition all of the food is donated to the Utah Food Bank. Now that the structures are built it's time to visit 111 Main, 95 State and the Link to view these masterpieces and cast your vote for People's Choice! Purchase as many $1 votes as you like. All monetary donations will be split between the Utah Food Bank and Utahns Against Hunger. Voting ends on November 19th. Cast your vote: https://ow.ly/40LB50U6FrS

We are honored to celebrate this milestone with the project team; the final beam is a significant milestone! Soon, the remaining steel deck that Steel Encounters meticulously detailed (290 tons) will be placed, acting as a base for subsequent materials. Stay tuned for updates. #steeldeck #steeldeckusa
Thank you, Okland Construction, for an outstanding event today. Architects from NBBJ Design and Architectural Nexus visited the site of the future Huntsman Mental Health Foundation Translational Research Center at The University of Utah. Designers, contractors, engineers, and many others involved in the project signed the final beam. An evergreen tree atop the last structural beam is a tradition that symbolizes the completion of a building's structural framework and is meant to signify good luck, safety, and prosperity for future occupants. The 185,000-square-foot facility will bring together countless experts to advance mental health research and clinical care.

We love delivering "never been done before" visuals for our clients. Here's one idea that worked out pretty good, "What if we could fly a drone through the rotunda window of the Utah State Capitol." Enjoy. #constructionvideo #constructionfilm #storylinefilms #constructiontimelapse #industrialvideo #companymorale
