Hey there! I'm Richie Root, Director of Provider Operations here at Steno. I want to talk about one of the most important aspects of our business: The working relationship we have with our court reporters. Unlike most of our competitors, we make it a point to pay our court reporters quickly and accurately. We always endeavor to pay in 10 days or less from the invoice submission. In fact, last month we averaged a payout of 3.6 days! This is a feat that has not been easy to accomplish but I am proud to have played a pivotal role in making it a reality. Nowadays I focus on another aspect of our court reporting business. Before I go into detail about that, let me tell you a bit more about myself: 🎭 I used to be heavily involved in musical theater and wrote musicals that have toured 3 different continents! ✈️ After living in Southern California for many years I've recently made the move to Wisconsin. 🎲 I have a passion for playing intricate board games with close friends. (Shoutout to my D&D players out there!) So back to court reporting. Today I focus on transparency and relationship building with our court reporters. Staying true to our company's value of operating with a hospitality mindset. I make it a point to learn what our court reporters care about the most and how we can best service their needs.
