As a recovering Type A overachiever, I've spent a lifetime "running from my own drive." And recently I wrote a song about my overwork patterns as part of my Songwriter's Journey with The Brothers Koren. The song is called "I Say Yes." After experiencing countless cycles of overwork, exhaustion, and burnout, this song captures the arc of my own healing journey. From pushing "the pedal down, to the floor, to get ahead" to being "connected to, pulsing through, alive within." "I Say Yes" will be released to all channels including Apple and Spotify on June 12, 2024. This song could be subtitled "The Journey of an Enneagram type 3."
