SPEAK KENYA is thrilled to announce starting of a new project the "Step to Care Initiative" under the Umbrella of TETEA PROJECT funded by the European Union through the International Committee for the Development of People (CISP) to protect women and children against violence in Nakuru County. The overall objective of the initiative is to enhance community understanding of Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Children (VAC) and ensure community commitment to preventing GBV and VAC through Theatre of the Oppressed as a powerful tool for engaging audiences in challenging harmful norms and practices.
