Rebecca Kuzma, COO of Strengthening Stark under Stark Economic Development Board, has received the first-ever Diane Stevens Robinson Community Impact Award from the Greater Stark County Urban League, presented at the 2024 Greater Stark County Urban League Black and White Ball. This award is designed to honor individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions to their community. The award recognizes efforts in areas such as community service, social justice, economic development, housing or education, highlighting those who work tirelessly to crease positive change and uplift their communities. “We are happy to see Rebecca recognized for all the hard work she does in the community,” said Ray Hexamer, CEO of Stark Economic Development Board. “This honor is well deserved.” The 2024 Diane Stevens Robinson Community Impact Award will be the third award in the last 12 months that recognizes Rebecca’s dedication to our community and to Strengthening Stark’s vision: A more vibrant community for ALL. The two previous awards include: - Strengthening Stark, the 2023 Friends of the Greater Stark County Urban League Award for support, advocacy, and service - Rebecca Kuzma, the 2023 Stark County NAACP President’s Award Congratulations to our fellow awardees: Will Dent at ABCD, Mark Bixby, Councilwoman Chris Smith, and Clishawn Wiggins.
