Today is Giving Tuesday—a global day of generosity and a reminder that we all have the power to make a difference. As a veteran, I know firsthand the life-changing impact that organizations can have. For me, the USO, Student Veterans of America, and American Corporate Partners (ACP) were instrumental in my journey from military service to civilian life. They provided resources, mentorship, and a sense of community when I needed it most. Giving back doesn’t always mean writing a check. It could be volunteering your time, sharing your expertise, or even amplifying the mission of a cause that matters to you. Every act of kindness adds up. Today, I encourage you to reflect on the causes close to your heart. What organizations have impacted your life or the lives of those you love? How can you help them continue their mission? Student Veterans of America (SVA) staff, along with a group of student veterans Timothy T. of UMass Law, Kevin Fitzgibbon, CAM of Northeastern University, and Colin Campbell of Bridgewater State, had the incredible honor of attending The White House Turkey Pardoning Ceremony.
