La Casa represents a significant shift in the paradigm of homeless care, moving away from institutional-type facilities to a more dignified and community-oriented approach. Our goal with this project was not only to maximize individual living units on a compact site but to create a space that reflects the quality and design of market-rate condominiums—because everyone deserves a place they can truly call home. The new Two Rivers Middle school is an addition to an existing historic school in Northeast Washington, DC.
