    Remote-first, but not remote-only? For the first time since working together, Joseph and I met in person. On our side of the world—Seoul, South Korea. A full day of work, followed by some incredible hoe—Korea’s take on sashimi—to wrap it up. Supademo is fully remote. It’s in our DNA. We love the flexibility, the ability to hire globally, and the deep focus that remote work allows. But I’ll admit—spending the day working side by side, hashing out Q1 priorities in real-time, felt different. In a good way. It was productive. Maybe even more productive than if we had done it remotely. No lag, no context switching—just seamless, high-bandwidth collaboration. Remote work is incredible, but now and then, meeting in person reminds you that there’s a different kind of magic when you’re in the same room. For other remote-first teams: - how often do you meet in person? - or do you keep it fully virtual?
