Had an amazing TX trip last week. Good for the soul! Spent the week with my team in Irving directly hearing and seeing their amazing work in action. Visited one of our distribution centers with our Supply Chain partners advancing our capabilities. Lastly, had the privilege to be a keynote speaker for the Everest conference in Dallas about the great transformation work we are doing in Verizon Global Services. I also had the privilege of accepting an award on behalf of our Verizon India ctr as best GBS Employer in India. My colleague Vijayaraman Subramanian and his team deserve all the accolades for the amazing team and culture they’ve cultivated. We are happy to announce that our SCAI website https://supply-chain.ai/ starts beta testing today. During beta testing, no membership fee will be collected, so the payment functions are disabled. Education/Certification portion, which will be paid service, is disabled too. Interested people can sign up for free via our website (at top left corner), and participate in the discussions under Membership and Community. Everyone can discuss in the “General Discussion” forum after an account is created. Web Administrator will review signups and, based on the information provided, approve some users, who will then be able to discuss on the “Career Center” (job opportunities and interests) and “Project Discussion” (any project that you may need help) forums. These two forums will only be available for paid members in the future after beta testing. Meanwhile, we also have the Research/Practice section, where we will post articles. Only the web master can post in this section – any submitted articles are subject to review by the editorial team before the publication. Our website currently has published one article by Professor Warren Powell. If you have anything that you would like to share, please email to internationalscai@gmail.com for us to review.
