Surreal Cycling started many years ago with this quest find the Truth. Only I didn't know it at the time. It was a feeling that I was seeking. A feeling that I felt was lost. I was chasing on the internet for it, chasing social media for it, chasing it everywhere except for the place it actually resides. I found what I was searching for on an indoor bike. Many years ago, I took all data and metrics away from riding and started to ride by feel. I found that the more I rode by feel, the better my mood became. My mood was no longer dictated by data and numbers. It was determined by ability to let go and explore my physicality on a bike. This led to me winning the NYC Triathlon, tracking no data, on a bike that I borrowed from a stranger on the streets of Manhattan. This was the A HA moment for Surreal Cycling.
