🎓📢 January Highlight: Bridging Education & Real-World Impact! At The Toolbox, we believe in the power of education to drive real-world change. Last month, we were proud to provide direct support to Laetitia Truchi and her students at TBS Education as they tackle the ESG business challenges of real-world companies. After an introductory lecture, community manager Isaac James Murray facilitated students in applying their skills to The Toolbox tools to help companies innovate and grow sustainably. 📚 The six student teams will continue to work directly with five diverse businesses: ✅ A software firm pitching their data storage solutions for ESG strategy management. ✅ A medicinal food supplements manufacturer innovating in healthcare and fitness. ✅ A footwear producer prioritizing style and building a sustainable community. ✅ Ferry ports optimizing logistics and efficiency. ✅ A holiday villa resort building an ESG strategy and integrating sustainable tourism practices. Its that time of year! As the leaves fall, Q4 review meeting dates are set, and the office Christmas party planning begins. Thats right, reporting season is well and truly in full swing! 🌟  The Toolbox has released the seventh video in its tutorial series, Step 7: Assessing Progress, on YouTube. This step helps teams to evaluate how their sustainability strategy is performing - because if it isn’t measured, it can’t be improved! This tutorial focuses on:   📊 Tracking progress using data.   📉 Comparing results against targets and responding accordingly.   ✅ Tools like trackers, a customizable carbon calculator, and the climate action plan.   🛠️ Performing internal audits to address non-compliance issues.  Next month, the final video in the series, Step 8 Reporting and Communication, will be released on YouTube. The Toolbox is still looking back fondly on an amazing conference at the Sport Positive Summit in October. At the event, The Toolbox was excited to host some key sessions alongside some incredible organizations! The Toolbox hosted a community breakfast, bringing our members and supporters together to exchange ideas and discuss new initiatives. Together, The Toolbox explored partnerships and enjoyed great dialogue on success challenges, learnings, and adaptations of the tools with peers from World Rugby, thinkBeyond Talent, the Australian Olympic Committee, and IMOCA. The Toolbox Community Manager Isaac James Murray also led a Sustainable Procurement Panel with the LTA and Real Betis Balompié, engaging over 50 participants to explore responsible sourcing in sports. Finally, The Toolbox co-facilitated two UNFCCC Sport for Climate Action Climate Labs, focusing on sustainable partnerships and resilience-building across regions and sectors.
