Imagine achieving 100% compliance while saving countless hours each week on admin tasks! Shaun Odom, IPP & FOG Program Manager at TriCo Regional Sewer Utility, made it a reality with SwiftComply. Managing FOG compliance for 192 facilities was no small task. Shaun relied on handwritten notes and Excel spreadsheets, spending hours each week just trying to stay on top of inspections and deadlines. With the right tools in place, Shaun now spends less time on admin and more time on what matters most: proactively addressing risks, connecting with the community, and improving the program overall. 👉 Want to see how TriCo made it happen? Is your Industrial Pretreatment program stuck in the past? 🤔 Many pretreatment programs are still relying on outdated systems—like Excel or legacy software—that slow down processes and increase risk. 👉 Here’s what you need to know: - CROMERR compliance is pushing programs to adopt electronic reporting, which can feel overwhelming. - Automation and AI are reducing manual compliance tasks, making programs more efficient. - Cloud-based solutions make data access and management easier from any device or location. - Collaboration and transparency are critical—newer tools foster better collaboration with internal teams and external users. The challenge isn't just updating technology—it’s choosing the right path forward. 🔑 If you're evaluating your options, now's the time to explore modern solutions that can help streamline and future-proof your program. Managing a FOG compliance program isn’t just about regulations—it’s about relationships. And that’s where many programs stumble. ❓ Do you trust your haulers? If not, you’re not alone. Haulers are the linchpin of your compliance strategy, but without trust and clear communication, things can quickly go sideways. 🔍 Accountability Gaps: Restaurant owners rarely know the ins and outs of grease interceptors, leaving haulers to shoulder compliance—and often without oversight. 🚨 Misaligned Incentives: Haulers don’t make money hauling water, leading some to take shortcuts like skimming instead of full pump-outs. 👥 The Three Types of Haulers You’ll Encounter: 1. Big Players: Focused on big contracts, often hard to connect with. 2. Mom-and-Pops: Dedicated but buried in paperwork. 3. Regional Operators: Balancing growth with operational challenges. 🛠️ Winning Strategies: Programs like Jacksonville’s Preferred Pumper and Tempe’s Grease Co-op show that education, communication, and clear standards turn haulers into partners, not just providers.. Bottom Line: Educate, communicate, and regulate. Your haulers are key to keeping your FOG program compliant. Don’t leave them out of the conversation. 👉 Want to know more?
