📢Synalima Board Meeting We are thrilled to share a summary of our quarterly outcomes and plans for the near future. Here are the highlights from our meeting today: Q3 Highlights 501c3 Public Charity Status Granted: Your contributions, which are 100% directed towards student scholarships, are now tax deductible within the United States. Find out more at https://lnkd.in/gN4RGS6w. Funding Campaigns and Grants: We successfully implemented our fundraising platform integration and, while modest, have received scholarship support for four students (let's get that to ten in Q4, $5 a month covers a program and weekly cohort meeting for one student with secure access to all our education offerings, more at https://lnkd.in/gKpmEzdc.) Community Engagement: Our focus groups and learning community engagement yielded new partnerships and participation in the Microsoft Teams Education and Reading Coach/Progress programs. We will be expanding the trial and participation to our learners in Q4. Q4 Priorities Introduce additional student cohorts: We have received interest in accommodating additional age groups and learning differences in Q4 and will be introducing new, weekly sessions for Reading Coach/Progress and Minecraft Education. Further, we will expand our Microsoft Teams Education implementation to accommodate classes, assignments and exercises. Research and Development: We will continue exploring partnerships and integrations to further supplement offerings in support of our learner needs and inquiries, building upon our new foundation and learnings from focus groups and weekly mentorship programs. Incredible progress made and much more to come. Thank you for being part of our journey. Warm regards, Synalima Board of Directors

At the Global Nonprofit Leaders Summit, Meg Garlinghouse, Vice President of LinkedIn Social Impact, demonstrates how, in the age of AI innovation, soft skills like communication and connection are more valuable than ever. “As long as humans want to be with each other and connect, we'll need great communicators. There's a demand for leaders with social perception, who can be flexible and make ethical decisions. As much as we see this huge rise in the demand for AI skills, we're also seeing an increasing commensurate rise in demand for those soft people skills that matter so much.” After Meg’s opening keynote, she’s joined by Karin Kimbrough, Chief Economist at LinkedIn's Economic Graph, for a fireside chat that explores how a changing job market no longer silos careers by roles or sectors. They discuss how this agile, changing landscape makes soft skills more critical than ever. Watch their keynote conversation: https://lnkd.in/gKBHMMiT
