Creative editing tools to control humans in video, starting with AI lipsync. No training required, available via API

About us

We’re a team of artists, engineers, and researchers building controllable AI video editing tools to unbound human creative potential. Our research team builds AI video models to understand and affect fine-grained, controllable edits on any human in any video. Our product team makes these models accessible to everyone from everyday people, professional editors and animators, developers, and businesses large or small to reach new audiences and tell outstanding stories. Our technology is used to automate lip-dubbing in localization processes in entertainment, create dynamic marketing campaigns personalized to individuals or communities, animate new characters to life in minutes instead of days, fix mistakes in post-production by making word-level edits to avoid rerecording entire scenes, and more – this is just the beginning. In the last 12 months we graduated at the top of our YC batch (W24), raised a $5.5M seed backed by GV, won the AI grant from Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross, scaled to millions in revenue – and we're only just getting started. COO & Co-Founder at MeetYourClass (Techstars ‘23) | Building Software for Higher Ed Admissions & Enrollment Departments

MeetYourClass recently pitched on the My First Million podcast alongside Milieu, Tour, MetaFrazo, Brothers Nuts, and Pathlit. Click here to see the MeetYourClass pitch: https://lnkd.in/eDamMx8t. Everyone has to check out what these other start-ups from the University of Michigan and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign are building. Here is a high-level overview about why each excites me so much: The organizers: Bobby Housel, Tommy Potter, Barry Sabin, and Austin Kennedy have changed the way entrepreneurs meet at UMich and UIUC. At UMich, they host bi-weekly meet-ups that anyone can attend without an application, dues, or required meetings. After Blake Mischley and I attended each of these meet-ups during our freshman year, we were inspired and knew what it would take to stop talking about launching MeetYourClass and finally make it happen. Milieu, Inc.: Nathan Shatz and Ronil Chaudhary are going to revolutionize skincare by customizing our cosmetic products and habits to each person's unique microbiome. Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/etZqAgmF. Tour & Tour.video (YC S21): Amulya Parmar and Kishan Sripada (my good friend from high school!) are making apartment tours virtual and interactive. I used their product when shopping for an apartment in Chicago this past summer. I cannot imagine having made such a significant financial and lifestyle decision without Tour. MetaFrazo: Shrikar Lekkala is helping content creators such as universities "dub" their online content into 60+ languages. Being so close to universities grappling with the impending domestic, demographic cliff, I am confident that MetaFrazo will empower universities to bring their educational services to a much larger population. I am so excited to see how companies like MetaFrazo help to educate the world. Shameless plug, but another impressive dubbing start-up is sync. (YC W24) – where my cousin, Noah Milberger, serves as the founding engineer. Brothers Nuts: Austin Majors and Caleb Majors have such an inspiring story, and their sprouted nut products are making for healthier, more sustainable snacking habits. I am already craving the Crackled Cheezy Almonds that are on the way. Pathlit: Advay Gupta is making reading and responding to emails substantially easier. Their response generator and inbox categorization system is positioned to drastically decrease the 13 hours per day the average worker spends on emails. I cannot begin to imagine the increased productivity and job satisfaction this will bring. Regarding MeetYourClass, we shared how our platform supports students in their transition from high school to college while helping universities enhance enrollment efforts. Specifically, we discussed how universities can tackle rising "Summer Melt" rates, which is the initial point of enrollment leakage and student support that MeetYourClass aims to address. Thank you Sam Parr, Shaan Puri, and the rest of the My First Million team for having us!

For a recent Charisma.ai pitch in Brazil I wanted our video pitch to be in Portuguese. While my Spanish and French language is okay, I'm lousy at Portuguese (something I am now working on!). Mixing a couple of technologies, and in two hours, I got the English language version recorded, translated, dubbed and lip-synched. Apparently I have a slight Sao Paulo accent (thanks Vanessa Romer for the language check).
