Our CSO, Rob Neely and CTO, Debora Lucarelli will be attending the @AGBT - Advances in Genome Biology and Technology - 23-26 of February 2025 in Marco Island. Together with Kristi Stephenson and Edward Jan, they will hold a "Tagomics Office Hours" session. The team is looking forward to meeting partners interested in accessing their novel multiomic technology, Interlace™. Drop by the Agilent suite 7016 and/or poster session.

  • We recently welcomed Shirong Yu to the team! 🎉 Shirong was originally trained in chemistry, earning an M.Sc. before completing a PhD in Molecular Biology. As an MRC research fellow, she dedicated her efforts to developing cutting-edge molecular tools to investigate the mechanisms of DNA damage and repair, with a particular emphasis on their relevance to cancer. After more than a decade in academia, she transitioned to industry, joining Cambridge Epigenetix (now Biomodal), where she spent nine years leading the development of methylation-based assays and platforms. Before joining Tagomics, she played a key role in developing and productising novel Hi-C technologies for interpreting the 3D organisation of the genome. We are excited to welcome Shirong to the team. Her deep expertise in the development of genomics assays will be instrumental in advancing our multiomic biomarker discovery and diagnostic platforms. #Welcome #Tagomics #Team

  • Welcome to the team Paulina Siejka-Zielinska! 🎉 Paulina holds a DPhil in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford and has extensive postdoctoral experience. Her background combines a strong foundation in epigenetics, liquid biopsy and sequencing assay development with computational skills. During her DPhil, she contributed to the development of novel methods for analysing DNA methylation, including TAPS technology. She successfully used TAPS data to develop computational approaches for predicting cancer from epigenetic and fragmentomic signatures in circulating plasma DNA. In her postdoctoral research, she applied integrative data analysis to deconvolute fine interplay between the epigenome and transcriptome in colonic premalignancy. Her computational experience encompasses diverse datasets such as methylation sequencing, RNA-seq and single-cell omics data. We are excited to welcome Paulina to the team. Her comprehensive understanding of epigenetics and advanced computational skills will unveil the rich biological insights offered by Tagomics' platform. #Welcome #Tagomics #Team

  • Welcome to the team Nana Mensah! Nana has just completed his PhD in Computational Biology from the Francis Crick Institute and University College London. He developed bioinformatics tools to investigate aberrant DNA methylation in cancers and applied these to studies of advanced prostate cancers, small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours and non small-cell lung cancers. Before embarking on his PhD, he completed the three-year NHS scientist training programme in Clinical Bioinformatics, where he developed bioinformatics pipelines for the rare disease service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. We're delighted to have Nana on the team! His skillset will feed into the development of our multiomic biomarker discovery and clinical reporting software. #Welcome #Tagomics #Healthcare #Innovation
