We had an exciting start to the summer with our Talos Family event in Galveston. In partnership with the Energy Education Foundation, our families learned about the history of our industry by touring the Ocean Star Offshore Drilling Rig And Museum. We are honored to support the Energy Education Foundation and all they do through STEM learning. Our Helix Producer 1 was dry-docked for routine maintenance, providing a scenic backdrop for our day. Food, STEM activities, and fun made a wonderful day and what makes our Talos Together culture come alive.

Bill Moss, EVP, and General Counsel, represented our company during the KPRC Clean Up telethon to raise support for the American Red Cross. Bill spoke about the Talos Together spirit and how we give back to the communities where we live and work. 

This year, we partnered with Avondale House for our Run for a Reason corporate partnership. We joined Avondale House for multiple events, including their inaugural field day. We believe in providing accessibility to care and resources to foster well-being in communities and our employees. This event embodied the Talos Together spirit; we are proud of our employees' involvement.

We are thrilled to have sponsored the Longhorn Impact Fellowship at Texas (LIFT), a program offered by the Global Sustainability Leadership Institute (GSLI) at UT Austin. Our LIFT student consulting team did an amazing job identifying key influences the Carbon Market could have on Talos’ sustainability strategy! Talos goes beyond responsibly providing affordable and accessible energy; we believe in coming together to advance educational opportunities in our communities. Participating students Anish Rudra, Kathryn Clark, Matthew Bagtas, Sydney Svagerko Param Kapoor, and Company advisors Kyle Vano and Trina Engels.

Employees donated to our “Jeans in June” fundraiser last summer to help raise funds for Houston Children's Charity (HCC). Through our efforts, “Chariots for Children” were able to purchase and gift a vehicle to Jed and his family in a time of need. Talos is honored to have made a difference in their lives this week. With their new vehicle, Jed and his family will no longer have the extra burden that comes from the everyday tasks most of us take for granted, like running errands around town, seeing relatives in different parts of Texas, and maybe going on a long-awaited vacation. Talos Energy believes in responsibly providing accessible and affordable energy critical to modern life. Additionally, our most valuable asset, our employees, are committed to giving back to the communities where we live and work. 

Our recent transaction was Talos Energy’s 12th acquisition and largest to date. We commemorated this occasion with a celebration! Our most valuable asset is our dedicated workforce, who help us to bring affordable and accessible energy to global markets.

Talos Energy is proud to be a partner with Houston Children's Charity, and A Better Night's Sleep. This program provides mattresses, bed frames, sheets, pillows, and blankets to children in need. Scientific research has shown that there are significant links between a child’s sleeping habits and their performance in school: • Children who nap longer during the day have longer attention spans. • Children who are diagnosed with ADHD have dramatically improved peer relations and classroom performances once better sleep routines have been established.   Talos employees took time out of their weekend to deliver over 150 news beds to underserved children. We believe in giving back to our local communities and the social impact we can make as a leader in the Greater Houston area.
