📢 Tamis is hiring! See full position details, below. Position Title: Customer-Service/Sales Team Member Tamis Corporation is a small privately owned company that is entering a growth phase. At Tamis we consider all our employees as family and not just a number. We are seeking to hire new members to be part of our family. We are seeking: • Individuals who are self-motivated and can work with minimal supervision. • #1 Must be comfortable on the phone. o To be successful you will be required to make outbound phone calls for a minimum of two (2) hours every day. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable making calls and can conduct productive conversations with a wide variety of contacts from different industries. If you enjoy talking to people and gathering information without the stress of having to make a sale or close a deal, then this may be the position for you. • #2 Appetite for competition and being successful. o Sharp listening skills o Ability to ask qualifying questions o Meticulous documentation during and after every customer interaction. o Ability to learn and retain product/vendor knowledge. • #3 Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Tamis will teach you what you need to know to be successful through systematic training that will introduce you to the core industries and their customers, product sources and applications. The first six months of employment will include daily outbound calls to practice core skills with real prospects from our existing database. Over time the outbound calls will evolve into order processing and problem resolution. Each workday, however, will always include a minimum of two (2) hours on the phone calling prospective clients. There must be no hesitation in picking up the phone to engage customers and potential customers. There will be a highly competitive base salary starting at $60,000/year. There is also the potential to earn team bonuses based on the overall success of the team. For the right team member, this position could evolve into a leadership position overseeing others performing the same work. Building upon such experience, we are carefully attuned to the needs of our customers, and the solutions (the product) they require, which distinguishes us from alternative suppliers.
