We're thrilled that our very own Anne Jeffrey had the opportunity to participate in the 2025 Puerto Rico Coalition Field Visit and share her expertise with colleagues across the YMCAs of Montclair, Central Massachusetts, Greater Somerset County and Newark and Vicinity. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved to learn from one another and strengthen our collective impact. Thank you to all who made this experience possible. We look forward to continuing to grow together in service of our communities. #YForAll
This week, the 2025 Puerto Rico Coalition Field Visit brought together leaders of the YMCA of Montclair, YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Greater Somerset County YMCA, Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, and the YMCA of Newark and Vicinity with the YMCAs of San Juan and Ponce to strengthen our communities by learning and sharing from each other. We discussed topics including Day Camp, Teen Leaders, Human Resources, Shared Services, and Annual Campaign with staff and volunteers. The group also painted classrooms for the new program for children with disabilities), learned about the history, culture and present of Puerto Rico, and enjoyed nature at El Yunque National Forest. In addition, we met Marlese Sifre, the Mayor of Ponce! Deeply thankful to Ann Margaret Gutierrez, Sylvia Velez, Betsy Moquin, Fabiola O'Donnell, David Carcieri, Buddy Evans, Nicole Bolding, Anne Jeffrey, Olga Lorenzo and their associations for their engagement and support; and to CEOs Mabel Román Padró and Maritza Correa and their teams for their gracious hosting! #YForAll 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷 🇵🇷
