About us
Teal Diva focuses on the emotional and mental health of those affected by gynecologic cancer. Through a range of programs including active treatment support, celebrating survivorship, and honoring legacies, we aim to provide strength through connection and empower individuals with vital knowledge about gynecologic cancers. We are not specifically targeting the tumor. There are a lot of amazing organizations and people working on research. Our community outreach is designed to bring women together outside of the clinic as well as educate young women on the signs and symptoms of the disease. . GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to use their individual power of generosity to support their communities and causes that are close to their hearts. On GivingTuesday – December 3, 2024 – the whole world comes together to give back. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day encouraging people to do good. Over the past 12 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. In one week Giving Tuesday will be upon us and we would LOVE your support as we strive to meet our end-of-year giving goal. It's because of donations just like yours, that Teal Diva is able to continue our mission of spreading hope and creating connections between gynecologic cancer survivors in the Charlotte area and beyond. Over the next few days, we want to share with you the true heart of our organization and what we do in the lives of survivors. Make a plan now to join us, and if you feel led, donate to our mission, heart, and our passion. #GivingTuesday www.tealdiva.org

Teal Diva is rolling out a new program for patients finishing chemotherapy and yesterday we introduced it to the cancer center at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, SC. We had a great meeting with healthcare leaders explaining not only our newest addition but each patient assistance program we offer in depth. We are excited to continue this great partnership allowing us to help patients in the Lowcountry area! HCA Healthcare Physician Services HCA Healthcare

Our Teal Diva 5k is an excellent opportunity for brand awareness and volunteering as a group while promoting health and wellness. Our 5k is cause based meaning most of the participants are there for the cause not necessarily for the fastest time…although sometimes the two collide. You can get a feel for the day through this awesome video put together by The 5 and 2 Project, LLC . We would love to partner with your company. You can sponsor, volunteer as a group, and/ or run/walk as a group. For more info: www.tealdiva.org

We are gearing up for our annual 5k event. Register as an individual or grab some friends and join us on May 4th (link below). This is a fun event honoring loved ones, celebrating life, and empowering the community on the signs and symptoms of gynecologic cancers. Through peer-to-peer fundraising and sponsorship, we are able to continue giving back to the communities we serve through our quality of life programs: Yes Girl, Survivor Support, our Infusion shirts and beanies, and our Survivor Retreat. https://lnkd.in/gQpm3KDj
