Service General Manager Darrin Mitchell at Cerris Systems - Omaha has turned his passion for aviation into acts of kindness, supporting colleagues through challenging times. When Service Technician Gene Martens' wife, Robin, faced a difficult cancer diagnosis, Darrin offered to personally fly them to the Mayo Clinic, ensuring Robin could receive the care she needed. He also uplifted another colleague, Mike Risney, with a flight during his battle with cancer, providing comfort in difficult times. Darrin's dedication to caring for others exemplifies compassion and his Caring Heart. Thank you, Darrin, for making a difference. In memory of Robin Martens and Mike Risney. Today, we proudly honor the service and sacrifices of U.S. Military veterans, both within our company and across the nation. Veterans make up nearly seven percent of the construction industry workforce, including many of our own employee owners who bring invaluable skills and dedication to our team. At Cerris, one of our five areas of philanthropic support is Veteran Support. Ensuring resources and quality of life for our country's veterans and their families is of the utmost importance to us. As part of this commitment, we proudly partner with Folds of Honor, our national charity beneficiary, which provides educational scholarships to the families of fallen and wounded military and first responder personnel. Supporting U.S. veterans is a privilege we embrace through collaborations with multiple organizations across the country. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to those who have given so much for us.

Craig Woodson, Chief Administrative Officer, recently led an inspiring and thought-provoking discussion at C You In The Major Leagues Foundation on the power of choices. His insights highlighted the importance of making wise decisions, understanding the impact of those choices, and having the courage to stand by them, even when it means going against the grain.

"Sometimes you have to stand alone." This powerful statement was one of the many invaluable lessons our C-10 students learned about CHOICES on Wednesday night. We were privileged to have Craig Woodson, Chief Administrative Officer at Cerris and one of our dedicated pinch-hitter mentors, lead an inspiring and thought-provoking discussion. Using the Habitudes book as a guide, our students engaged in meaningful conversations with their mentors about: • The critical importance of leaders making wise choices • Understanding that choices can lead to both positive and negative outcomes • The courage required to stand by one's convictions, even when standing alone These discussions not only reinforced leadership principles but also encouraged our students to think critically about their own decision-making processes. The evening concluded on a joyful note as we celebrated our first-quarter birthdays, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among our C-10 family. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Craig Woodson for sharing his expertise and insights, providing our students with real-world perspectives on leadership and decision-making. Most importantly, we want to express our sincere THANK YOU to our donors. Your generous support makes these transformative experiences possible, directly impacting the lives of our students and shaping the leaders of tomorrow. #C10Program #Leadership #MentorKCKids #KansasCity #MentoringMatters #DecisionMaking #YouthDevelopment

Our team was recently recognized as the fifth largest ESOP in Kansas City on the Kansas City Business Journal's "Kansas City's Employee-Owned Companies" list. The list, which came out during ESOP Month, marks another accomplishment we've achieved as a team. Recognitions like this speak to our continued growth, which is a testament to our employee owners' hard work and quality craftsmanship nationwide.
