    What are the 5 secrets to scaling your business on TikTok Shop? TikTok Shop was just confirmed by The Wall Street Journal as the #9 Ecom platform in the US, and fastest growing! With 170 Million Daily Active Users in the US, TikTok is bigger than Instagram, and it’s Shop is bigger than Target’s ecom site. How can your brand win BIG on TikTok Shop? What’s our secret sauce? Team GO is the #1 TikTok Shop Partner (TSP) in the United States, so we know what it takes to become a seven and eight figure monthly seller on the platform. We deploy 5 key levers to drive growth & revenue on the TikTok Shop platform - 1. Effective Paid Media Spend. 3X ROAS and beyond can be achieved via boosting affiliate videos, and running a conversion campaigns around shoppable (commission free) videos with strong hooks and a compelling CTA. When you boost affiliate videos, you still have to pay our commissions on those videos, so creating your own "affiliate-type" ads is more cost effective, at scale. 2. Affiliate Partnerships. All seven figure shops have at least 1,000 new affiliate partners per month. That is the north star, and the minimum in order to become a true top shop. Starting at 250 - 500 affiliate partners per month is fine, but at scale you need to cross 1,000+. Fun fact - In May 2024, there were 9,000 individual creators that sold at least $5,000 worth of product. 3. Daily Shoppable (Commission Free) Content. This will be created by our in house creators, live on your page, and will also be turned into conversion ads. It's important to be posting shoppable and properly tagged content that feels native to the platform at least 1-2 times per day. 4. In-Studio Live Shopping. This will feature our professional creator hosts, be shot out of our live shopping studios in Downtown Los Angeles, and will also live on your page. We recommend going live at least 120 hours per month / 5 days a week of live content 5. Shop Stars Going Live. This is what is driving 25%+ of platform sales to now be via live shopping, and involves us training top affiliates and turning them into our shop stars. For this we recruit at least 20 shop stars to go live daily, and work to add 10-20 more shop stars monthly.     Is TikTok Shop the new Amazon? Maybe. Read my take to find out. Based on our findings, there are ~200K approved sellers in the US, but it appears that less than 5% of them are actually active. Meaning there are only ~10K sellers generating any sort of revenue on TikTok Shop. Crazy small! Makes me think... less competition? TikTok Shop is anticipating $20B in revenue for 2023. If that revenue is only coming from 10,000 sellers, or even 50,000 sellers - there is real money to be made! There are 73.7 million monthly active users in the US on TikTok. Amazon has an estimated 167.2 million Amazon Prime Members in the US as of 2023. Amazon also has 9.7 Million sellers vs. TikTok at ~10,000. Lots of competition on Amazon. Almost 40% of Gen Z is using TikTok and Instagram for search instead of Google, according to Google's own data. That is 27 Million people. For Black Friday / Cyber Monday, TikTok grabbed 7.12% of purchase volume. While still dominated by Meta (at 59.44%), TikTok came in at 7.12% - a huge increase of 135.69% over 2022. Vs. Amazon, who owns ~20% of overall Black Friday / Cyber Monday sales. TikTok Shop CPA is $13.08. We found that the cost per acquisition (CPA) actually dropped on TikTok year over year, from $24.13 in 2022 to $13.08 in 2023, making it the only platform that was cheaper to acquire customers than previously. TikTok Shop AOV is $43. We saw that the average order value for TikTok was $43, and much lower than both Meta ($95) and Google Ads ($92) for Black Friday 2023. This tells us that TikTok is great for lower ticket items or things that a Gen Z can purchase on the fly. So while TikTok is definitely not Amazon, there is a HUGE opportunity in front of us. There are segments on TikTok Shop with little to no competition. That is the opportunity right here, right now. 2024 is the year of making a name TikTok Shop. What do you do?
