It’s our favorite time of year… Not just because we love the holidays.. it’s because we begin to find out where our TTTP alumni will be heading this fall!!! That’s right is College Commitment Season!!! 🤗 First up is Jessy Dong, a senior at SOMERSET COUNTY VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SCHOOLS. We had the pleasure of working with Jessy in TWO separate TTTP cohorts. She joined us for the Summer 2022 Climate Justice Cohort and the Summer 2023 Health Equity Cohort, where she showed us that hard work and commitment are only some of her amazing attributes. Teen Think Tank Project is a student-run policy institute that fosters critical thinking, research techniques, and problem-solving skills to develop policy frameworks for real-life issues and empowers students to become future changemakers. As 2020 unceremoniously punctuated, the world is a mess! But a mediator and a political scientist think they have figured out a way to change the disheartening trajectory of our society. Motivated by a shared passion for creating a positive change in the world and empowering others to rise as leaders, Matthew DeSantis and Kelly Nagle founded the Teen Think Tank Project, with the vision of giving a future generation of change agents a voice in the world they will inherit.

This HBCU College Tour was researched, conceptualized, and planned over the past two years by a dedicated group of students from the Teens Take the Lead cohort.
