Tomorrow (Nov. 30) is Computer Security Day, a holiday dedicated to raising awareness of the importance of digital security for consumers. 🔒✨ To celebrate, here are three tips you should know about to help minimize the risk of digital fraud — courtesy of our security experts: 1. "Stay up to date with your software and apps. Many attacks exploit outdated systems, so regular updates help close security gaps." -Michaela Kastelman, Senior Product Marketing Manager 2. "Bots, fake account/identity thefts and social engineering fraud. To mitigate these fraud trends you need multiple safeguards/technologies in place and more complex or defined flows." -Bart Goethals, Principal Solutions Evangelist 3. "Using a password manager and enabling 2FA is a low-barrier way to prevent value extraction from your accounts. We often use the same password everywhere, but recommendations on using unique, strong passwords aren't scalable. By using modern authentication techniques, you can virtually automate your protections without a significant mental burden." -Shannon Donohue, VP of Messaging Operations & Global Connectivity
