I am honored to again be named to the DCEO Dallas 500. Humbling to be among so many accomplished people. Thank you to DCEO magazine for the honor. DFW is such a wonderful market to work in and I am deeply in debt to all those who helped me when I first arrived many years ago and those who continue to help me serve my clients.

Lower Middle Market M&A Investment Banking Firm
About us
We are a lower middle market Investment Banking firm providing privately held businesses with sell-side representation, merger and acquisition advisory and debt and equity capital raising representation. As past business owners, private equity investors and operators, we optimize our clients’ positioning in market and find the right buyer/partner/capital provider for them. We have the experience and knowledge of the market to bring their company to market and manage the process to their "telos" - their ultimate objective. Our sell-side clients are typically founders or owners whose companies have EBITDA (cash flow) of $2 million or more per year. They want to enter a new phase of their life even if they want to remain a partial owner and active in the business. They seek to diversify their assets, reduce their risk in the business, and reduce their involvement and responsibilities. Our merger and acquisition advisory clients do not need full representation. Possibly they have received an offer to sell or they want to make an acquisition. In either case they recognize the value of having a third party financial advisor with the experience and market knowledge to help guide them to a successful outcome. Raising debt or equity capital requires constant involvement in the ever-changing marketplace and strong relationships with providers of all stripes. We serve established companies with a history of revenue and profit, even if they are currently experiencing challenges. We do not raise capital for start-ups or early stage companies. Our clients use the capital to fund growth, acquisitions, dividend recapitalizations to diversify their assets and risk, buying out shareholders or partners, replace an existing creditor with a desire to leave, and many other reasons. This is always a fun time!
A great day on Friday as students from the Professional Program in Finance at the The University of Texas at Dallas came into our office to learn about Investment Banking, the sell-side and capital raise processes, and what it takes to be an analyst at an investment bank. We finished the day with a case study that they crushed! Thanks to program leader Jennifer Lamprecht Murray for her leadership of the program! This was the fourth IB day at Telos we have hosted for UTD students. We look forward to the next one!
