Happy Monday! The best day of the week, as a close friend always says. Being a part of Telvero, I now genuinely feel the same way about Monday, a day that used to give me anxiety on Sundays. Now for ghost jobs - "the roles that companies advertise but have no intention of filling - may account for as much as one in five jobs advertised online." The best way to get a job is to network into it using friends, contacts, and/or a trusted recruiter. But if you do apply to a job that you have no network connection to, make sure you reach out to the company directly or via employees on LinkedIn to express your interest and test the waters to see how seriously they are looking to fill the job.

According to a recent Gallup survey, the share of workers feeling unhappy and stuck in jobs they don’t like is at a 10-year high. These are words pulled from today's WSJ article titled "Looking for a Job Is Set to Get Less Miserable This Year (Yes, You Read That Right)". We don't love this, and we're sure you don't either. What do we love? The positive outlook that many companies and executives have for 2025.
