We were proud to be chosen by EPC Key Solar on their first canopy project, a 0.65 MW installation for Tuscan Village. Using our experience designing canopies since 2008, we were able to work hand in hand with the group building the new garage ensuring it was designed with the most efficient solar canopy in mind. Tuscan Village will be a "live, work, stay, play" project with sustainable features like rain gardens and a 4-acre lake. Exciting news—the Camino Real Mobile Estates project is Solar Builder's 101 kW to 1 MW Project of the Year! We are proud to have partnered with Developer/EPC Solar Gain to bring this 419 kW solar project to life. Despite limited rooftop space, our innovative solution utilized an existing narrow but steep retention basin. The Terrasmart team designed, engineered, and manufactured the racking system using our GLIDE Wave fixed-tilt racks, seamlessly adapting to the terrain's contours. We are thrilled to announce that the Cincinnati Zoo Solar Carport project is Solar Builder Magazine's 1 MW to 10 MW Project of the Year! Terrasmart is honored to share this award as the project's mounting and racking partner, along with EPC/Installer Melink Solar and Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden. This impactful project added 2.8 MW of solar power and shade for the zoo's visitors while also helping offset energy poverty in the neighborhood. They also installed 165 kW of panels through their Community Solar Resiliency Program (CSRP) to support the local community.
