As Chief Justice Nathan Hecht's retirement nears, the Supreme Court of Texas Justices and staff got together this morning to wish him luck and bid him farewell. The Justices shared stories and memories of their time serving on the Court with the Chief, and staff shared some of his more memorable quotes. Chief Justice Hecht's legacy is cemented in Texas history. The JCMH is grateful for his leadership; our Commission would not exist without him. Thank you Chief, and best wishes!

Dr. Almeida is the director of the Department of Behavioral Health Services for Fort Bend County. She is also the Chair of the JCMH Data Committee; we are lucky to have her on the Commission. https://lnkd.in/gyiUkAPy
