Working in #technology is never boring. Looking back to 2000, I remember all the predictions made about technology in 2010, 2025 & 2050. Some were incredibly accurate, while others didn’t come close to reality! 💭 It sometimes feels that we have a clearer direction and understanding of what’s coming up. But then you can be taken by surprise – just look at #DeepSeek and its impact over just a few days. 🧠 I’ve noted down a few #predictions about the immediate future of technology in this article, do give it a read 👇

📣 Thales and Qatar Airways have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a dedicated Inflight Entertainment (IFE) service and maintenance center based in Doha, Qatar.    ⚙️ The mission of this new Thales facility is to provide rapid access to comprehensive services such as repair, spare distribution, technical assistance and line maintenance for the full range of Thales IFE products. The move will drive Qatar Airways’ operational excellence and support the airline's ambitious growth plans to serve a large quantity of aircraft.   💬 Mr Ali Al Saadi, Qatar Airways Chief MRO Officer: “We are pleased to see the progression of our work with Thales. Innovation is not an option; it is a necessity for the defence solutions of tomorrow.   In my recent interview with McKinsey & Company, we discussed the crucial importance of innovation at Thales and in the defence sector.
