  • 🌱 This past Thursday, our club proudly hosted an event dedicated to exploring alternative proteins and their potential to transform our food systems for the better. We were thrilled to welcome over 30 attendees who share a passion for innovation and sustainability! We started the evening with an information session highlighting alternative proteins' critical role in addressing issues like sustainability, human/animal welfare, and health. It was an eye-opening discussion emphasizing why innovation in this space is so important. The session was followed by a three-course tasting and sampling experience, where attendees tried various alternative protein products. From flavor to texture, everyone had a chance to evaluate these exciting innovations—and the feedback was fantastic! We’re already looking forward to hosting more events to bring awareness to the alt-protein space and inspire change. Stay tuned for what’s next! 🌱 The Good Food Institute Cornell Institute for Food Systems Jojo Kelly Jacob Walker Sofia Moreira Infante Marie Andersen
