#ACEArmenia 3rd and 4th day brought leaders from the Americas and beyond to the Armenia countryside, visiting Lori and Vayatz Dzor provinces, for two days centered around #agroindustry, #heritage economy 1️⃣ Yeremyan Projects: a livestock complex spanning over 30 hectares that plays a critical role in advancing Armenia’s agriculture and food security.    2️⃣ Children of Armenia Fund (COAF): a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities and infrastructure in rural areas of Armenia.     3️⃣A panel discussion on #innovative #agriculture, #sustainable #farming practices and #foodsecurity, provided the ACE delegation with an opportunity to share insights on how to expand collaboration in sustainable farming across the world as a critical area of interest to all countries.   4️⃣To close day 3, ACE leaders were part of a networking session hosted by the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia. The session at the Megerian Carpet, an Armenian pioneer in rug trade, served as an occasion to highlight the importance of #cultural #heritage, #history, #arts, and creative distinctive products for #economic #development. 5️⃣ HIN ARENI WINE, located in the historic region of Vayots Dzor. This wine cellar processes more than 250 tones of grapes annually, positioning Armenia in the global market.”    6️⃣ #Areni1Cave where the world’s most ancient wine cellar was discovered. On Day 1 of #ACEArmenia, ACE leaders embarked on a transformative journey through #education, #innovation and #sustainability. At the world-class American University of Armenia, a distinguished private institution of higher education, Provost Dr. Alina Gharabegian, Minister Gevorg Papoyan and Deputy Minister Narek Hovakimyan from the Ministry of Economy of Armenia, US Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia, Kristina Kvien; and Ambassador Frank O. Mora Permanent Representative of the US to the Organización de los Estados Americanos officially kicked-off the ACE Special Edition in Armenia. The program is aimed at forging #partnerships for sustainable #economicdevelopment. In the #AUA, delegates discussed how to address climate challenges, and transform risks into opportunities. The group also learned about collaboration opportunities with #MediaLab and EPIC - Entrepreneurship and Product Innovation Center At Matena International School of Leadership and Professional Development experts presented experiences related to the urgent need to re-skill the workforce to adapt to the rapid evolution of transformative technologies. Next, the Tumo Center for Creative Technologies showcased their successful learning program to provide critical digital skills in technology and design for youth. Finally, ACE leaders engaged with Picsart an Armenian unicorn specialized on creative online photo and video editing with advanced technology.
