For countless women, consulting and freelancing offer the flexibility and independence to increase their income while balancing work, life projects, and, for many, caregiving responsibilities. But, the traditional consultancy model often feels like a constant hustle to secure fair pay. On top of that, many expert consultants aren’t seen as true partners—they’re treated more like task-doers. But when organizations genuinely collaborate, trust consultants’ expertise, and co-create strategies, the results are far more transformative. It’s time to rethink the model! Together with other women-led firms, we’re calling for equity-based consultancy practices—where consultants are valued as true partners, not underpaid contributors. Comotion, The Torchlight Collective, Unlock Impact , Global Health Visions We invite you to read Amy Fallon’s article for Devex about how women-led organizations are reshaping the consultancy world. The article discusses critical issues such as unpaid assignments, inequitable payment structures, and consultant burnout—challenges that many of us in this field know all too well. Share your thoughts: What would it take to build a more equitable consultancy model? https://lnkd.in/e4CujE8X

Today is #LatinaEqualPayDay! Did you know that, on average, women earn just 83 cents for every dollar earned by men performing similar work, and that this gap is even wider for Latinas —as they make only 52 cents for every dollar earned by non-Hispanic men—? This financial setback not only creates economic insecurity. It also limits opportunities for advancement, as well as their ability to support their families and provide high-quality education for their children, thus perpetuating a cycle of inequality. Take a moment to reflect on how we can #closethepay gap for Latinas! https://lnkd.in/emZ9Yu_E

We’re proud to support clients like The Fund for Women and Girls, who are committed to advancing gender equality and amplifying the voices of Latinas in leadership. 💪🏽✨
Latinas have made significant contributions to politics, often standing at the forefront of civil rights movements and the fight for reproductive rights. Yet, their voices remain underrepresented. From historical figures to modern-day leaders, Latinas have shaped our political context, inspiring future generations to pursue leadership roles. 🌎✨💪🏽 This #MesDeLaHerenciaLatina, we celebrate their impact and acknowledge that Latina representation in politics is vital. Latinas lead with courage, confronting inequities and advocating for inclusive policies that uplift all women and girls. Tag a Latina/x activist or organization making a difference in the fight for gender and racial justice! #EqualVoices #LatinasInPolitics #GenderEquality #LatinxHeritageMonth #MesdelaHerenciaLatina #GenderInPolitics #MareaVerde

✨ At The Bridge Sisters, we’re passionate about uplifting women—especially Latinas, immigrant women, and women of color—as they navigate the barriers imposed by a patriarchal system. These obstacles touch every part of life, including the economic landscape.
