About us
Three million people die in the US every year, leaving behind 15 million newly bereaved individuals. These individuals navigate institutions that are ill-equipped to support them with the new challenges they face. The BUILD Coalition is committed to changing that. BUILDco is a nonprofit that creates, supports, and enforces standards of care for corporations, organizations, and institutions on behalf of bereaved people in their capacity as employees, consumers, users, and community members.
