The location and the install date are set for the Sparkman High School Care Closet! 🎉 We are so excited to work with Heath Jones and Mr. Dreifort and his team so that over 1700 Senator students have resource security every school day 💙

We are 100% volunteer based, which means that our care closets, headquarters, special programs, etc. are all managed by servant hearts. But to do more, we need more help. That means you and your friends and even the harmless weirdo at your gym. We're having Triplets!!! We are beyond thankful to The Junior League of Huntsville for selecting us as this year's Project Impact Grant Winner! The nearly $30,000 grant will install Care Closets at Sparkman Middle School, Sparkman 9th Grade Academy, and Sparkman High School, serving over 3,000 students with on-site resources! Stay tuned for volunteer opportunities for this new adventure!

To kick off 2025, our Organization of the Month is The Caring Link! The Caring Link meets the needs of students across North Alabama by providing essential items through their on-site Care Closets in area schools. A big thank you to Tammy and the team at Walmart Supercenter Hazel Green’s Associate Academy for packing up thousands of Band-aids to refill our classroom medical kits mid-year. Our local Walmart is an amazing partner in so many ways! If you have a group that would like to volunteer, please reach out. There’s always more to be done.

Over the course of this month, we will be posting statistics and facts related to poverty in America, particularly childhood poverty. At the start of this new year, we want you to understand what motivates our work from January to December and why we so desperately need your help to make life better for those in the greatest need.
