Congratulations to our Vice Chair of Global Affairs Admiral James Stavridis, who was presented last week with The Sentinel of the Sea Award by the Naval War College Foundation in recognition of his enduring commitment to the U.S. Navy’s values of security, liberty, and strength. The #NWCF provides essential funding to support the College’s mission of preparing military and civilian leadership through research, curriculum development, and public awareness. Carlyle was delighted to recently host key partners from across Japan at the Carlyle Credit Academy in Tokyo where a group of our senior leaders presented an overview of today’s global credit markets and the outlook for investment opportunities across the asset class, with dedicated sessions on 4 key strategies: CLOs, Multi-Strategy Credit, Direct Lending and Asset-Backed Finance. The event was held as part of Japan Weeks 2024, a series of events promoting Japan’s role as an international financial center, led by the Financial Services Agency of Japan. We appreciate the contributions of all the delegates that made this a dynamic and interactive event, and to our speakers for their insights and perspectives.
