Born from personal struggle, this initiative feeds more than empty stomachs—it feeds hope. Every bag of fresh produce isn't just food; it's a promise of a family meal, a taste of dignity, and a reflection of community strength. Want to witness compassion in action? Join us and see how a simple act of giving can transform lives. Because here, we don't just share food—we share humanity. #Humanity #Hope
About us
The Elisha Project is a program designed to effectively and efficiently engage, galvanize, and inspire people to help each other via the simplest methods of love and service. Principles that are at the core of our beliefs. In 2011, one family had the vision of simply REFUSING TO DO NOTHING! That family decided that they would go out on their own and start serving bag lunches in Providence, Rhode Island. Their initial investment of $48.00 yielded exactly 24 meals and EP was born. Utilizing only social media (FaceBook, YouTube, Twitter, etc.) and word of mouth, the program has grown from 1 family to 123,000 families and counting (7/13/17). The meals have crossed the 130,000 mark and still climbing. EP has happened in 4 different states and EP – Pakistan launched in January of 2014. In 2012, we launched the "EP FOOD RESCUE" program to combat the problems of food waste and food insecurity. In a very short period, we have teamed up with local and national restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores to feed people in need throughout the northeast. In 2017, we simultaneously launched our "Emerging Leaders" and "Corporate Givers" program to work with youth and corporations alike. Today we educate, motivate inspire and serve through training sessions and motivational speaking throughout the country. Call us and we will be elated to come share with your organization.

"Hard as we try to meet the need, it's forever growing" - George L. Ortiz, Jr., Chief Servant Officer of EP Today showed us once again the incredible spirit of our community. In just one hour, we were blessed to connect with 600 families - each with their own story, journey, and hope for tomorrow. While our hearts ache for those we couldn't serve today, we're reminded that behind every number is a neighbor, a family, a story that matters. These moments fuel our commitment to grow, reach further, and keep showing up with love and dignity for everyone who needs us. Join our family of volunteers and help us write more stories of hope. Our community-centered approach isn't just about providing resources - it's about creating spaces where everyone feels valued and understood, where traditions are honored and where genuine connections are made.
