In the past 60 years, carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased 100 times faster than it did at the end of the last ice age. Hertz Fellow Bill Weihl founded ClimateVoice to help educate employees and executives at large tech companies about how and why they—and their companies—should speak out about climate policies. Read about the importance of his advocacy and how he’s creatively tackling a different kind of uncharted exponential growth to solve future climate challenges before they arise: https://lnkd.in/eW8rf_P2 #ClimatePolicy #Tech

In a world where accurate information is more critical than ever, a brilliant team of students from Amador Valley High School tackled one of today’s most pressing challenges: trust in information. Their groundbreaking AI Fact Checker, tested during the 2024 Presidential Debate, validates political claims in real-time using advanced AI and a custom-built Chrome extension. This remarkable project showcases the power of innovation to solve complex issues, and we’re excited to see them continue addressing tomorrow’s challenges! 👏 Congratulations again to all the honorees of this year’s 14th Annual DreamMakers and RiskTakers Awards hosted by Innovation TRIVALLEY Leadership Group, and to the Amador Valley High School students—Noah Small, Aryan Das, Jeffrey Ma, and Colin Jennings!
