Delta Grain now has the capacity to run 100% on solar energy! Over the past year we've worked with Renewvia Energy on this project to install solar panels at our Sidon facility with 520 megawatt-hour (MWh) of capacity. We believe this investment in clean energy will allow us to continue to expand our operations in the Mississippi Delta and capitalize on this renewable energy source. #renewableenergy #solarenergy #agriculture

In partnership with Renewvia Energy, we are installing solar panels at Delta Grain that will allow us to primarily run the entire facility on solar energy starting in 2025. The expected energy production of these solar panels will total 830MWH and reduce our carbon footprint and emissions by an expected 864 metric tons each year. Extra solar capacity will be redirected to the electrical grid for local utility providers. #solarenergy #renewablepower #mississippidelta

We received over 1,300 deliveries in three days after extending to 16-hour days ahead of Hurricane Francine to allow farmers to deliver as much grain as possible before the weather set in.
