The GOD'S CHILD Project is a non-political international humanitarian organization that develops and administers health, education, family foster care, community development, and human rights protection systems in the world's poorest nations. The GOD'S CHILD Project currently cares for and educates 5,000 orphaned and abandoned boys and girls, and provides education, medical care, legal aide, development skills, and human rights to 8,700 widowed, single, and abandoned mothers and their dependents worldwide.

A heartfelt thank you to The GOD'S CHILD Project for hosting Scarlet and me as volunteers for a few weeks in Guatemala. Founded by Patrick Atkinson in 1991, God’s Child Project is an extraordinary NGO dedicated to making a difference through comprehensive services in Education, Healthcare, Housing, Sustainable Development, and combatting Human Trafficking. 🏫 Education: Providing quality education and afterschool programs. 🩺 Healthcare: Offering essential dental and medical care, including the world-renowned Casa Jackson Hospital for Malnourished Children. 🏠 Housing: Building homes and housing orphaned children. 🌱 Sustainable Development: Creating jobs and providing training programs. 🚨 Human Trafficking: Actively working to address human trafficking. Scarlet and I had the privilege of spending a few weeks volunteering at the afterschool program and Casa Jackson, helping with the babies and elementary school children. We also supported food distribution to families in need. Volunteering with Scarlet made this experience even more special.
