From internet golf pioneer to industry leader, TGW.com took its first order in April 1998 and became one of the world’s first online golf retailers. Starting as a small family-operated company with only four full-time employees TGW has since grown to approximately 250 team members. In May 2000, TGW moved into the 105,000 square foot building located at 8851 East 34th Street and now, with over 230,000 square feet of warehouse space devoted to a huge selection of golf related products, TGW has become Golf’s #1 Online Superstore. In 2005, BaseballSavings.com and SoftballSavings.com became siblings to the TGW family with substantial progression occurring during the following years. Over 20,000 baseball and softball products are available to choose from. Baseball Savings’ internet sales continue to increase and the first Baseball Savings mail-order catalogs began shipping in 2010. On October 28, 2010, SoccerSavings.com joined its golf, baseball and softball counterparts and with an ever growing inventory, great service and pricing is already experiencing incredible growth. In December, 2012 TGW was purchased by Northern Tool & Equipment. TGW along with it's sister company The Sportsman's Guide make up the Sports and Leisure group of the company. Our Operations Leadership Team volunteered at the Kansas Food Bank last Wednesday. For those of you who do not know, the Kansas Food Bank is a non-profit organization that helps feed families, kids, and seniors and provides mobile food and hygiene pantries across Kansas. They serve 85 counties and have provided 13.6 million meals within the last year. Our operations team focused on preparing items to pack for children’s lunches. A big thank you to them for taking the time to volunteer for such a great organization. #KSFoodBank #Volunteering #CreceraBrands #TGW
