#BTS preview! We always love being back in the studio and having great chats with our guests. In Episode 6, we spoke to Nicole Voigt, Managing Director and Partner of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), about how they recently undertook a major study across the globe looking at how consumers may be willing to pay for net zero automobiles and domestic appliances. The findings are surprising and led to a most interesting discussion. The Green Steel Challenge
Mining
A trailblazing podcast to invite conversation, ignite innovation & accelerate change within the steel industry.
About us
The Green Steel Challenge podcast aims to invite conversation, ignite innovation and accelerate change within and around the steel industry, contributing significantly to the decarbonisation of this crucial material. Building on the success of our first season, we’re thrilled to launch Season 2, featuring not only steel industry leaders but also influential voices from across the entire supply chain. This season, we’ll continue to dive deeper into the innovations shaping a sustainable future for the sector. Drawing inspiration from Willy Korf, the German entrepreneur known as a steel rebel and pioneer of the mini-mill and DRI, this podcast challenges the steel industry. Produced by The Willy Korf Foundation and Kallanish Commodites, both neutral entities deeply connected to the steel industry yet without direct commercial interests, we aim to be a platform for transformative ideas. Each episode features Astrid Korf-Wolman, Willy Korf’s daughter, alongside Dr Mike Walsh, an independent consultant and project developer in the steel and special metals sector, and James Moss, strategy consultant and partner at First River Consulting.
