Someone asked us recently if it was "fun" running this page! The truth?! Sometimes!? Kind of? Mainly because it's amusing to come up with silly puns and absurd connections. But it's also ------ really sad? Because seeing orgs we love continue to perpetuate the inequality that is refusing to list a pay range is...... disappointing, to say the least. 🤑 We know that billionaires and what they do (or don't do) with their money is a hot topic these days.... 🫰 but what about schools with BILLION DOLLAR ENDOWMENTS who STILL refuse to list salary ranges on job postings. 🎓 "Oh, but it's academics, we do things differently here." 😎 Cool cool, so you just do things INEQUITABLY in academia. Got it got it got it. Brown University - your endowment is at over SIX BILLION and yet - you can't tell us how much the HVAC Supervisor role would play? University of Chicago yours is at over NINE BILLION and yet, you've been a repeat offender on this list since we began! Smith College - especially disappointed to see you here - as the self-proclaimed top woman's school in the country - shouldn't you REALLY be caring about inequitable hiring practices? If you're an alumni of one of the above institutions - please help us by calling them out to do better. And if we can find any extra resources this is a list we'd love to keep growing.....
