Just weeks before Liv's passing during her winter holiday break, she created this heartfelt "No One Is Alone" video from one of her favorite musicals. Her loss shocked our community, which saw her as a beautiful, joyful, and talented young woman, unaware of the profound emotional battles she fought. I share this to emphasize that depression can manifest in various forms. Please remember to treat each other with kindness, reach out to your loved ones, and if you think someone might be struggling, don't hesitate to ask if they are feeling suicidal or engaging in self-harm. Listen with empathy and care, then offer to assist them in finding the most appropriate support. Remember, no one is alone! If you’ve been feeling sadder lately, you’re not alone - the shorter and darker days of fall and winter can trigger seasonal depression, AKA seasonal affective disorder (SAD). 🌨️ While it’s more common to experience seasonal depression in the winter, you may also find your mood shifting in the spring and summer. Whatever the time of year though, coping with seasonal depression can be difficult. But you’re not alone, and support is available. Learn more about seasonal depression at https://lnkd.in/g9iN5XC. If you’re struggling or in crisis, help is available. Call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org. You can also reach Crisis Text Line by texting HELLO to 741741.

Prioritizing your well-being isn’t selfish—it’s essential. Setting boundaries helps protect your energy and keeps the season joyful, not stressful. Take a deep breath, say no when you need to, and give yourself the gift of peace this year. 💛 ________________________ Priorizar tu bienestar no es egoísta, es esencial. Establecer límites protege tu energía y mantiene la temporada alegre, no estresante. Respira profundo, di no cuando lo necesites y regálate paz este año. 💛

Social media can be a great place to connect, but it can also fuel our FOMO and disrupt our sense of belonging. If you have ever found yourself swimming in FOMO as you scroll, you're not alone.
