Today is a special day for me. One year ago I started my journey into the military world. As a civilian, I had no idea what to expect. There was not plan, no goals, no expectations. It all started with the support of good friends Raymond A. Jackson & Suzanne Lesko. From here, I was able to build out an impressive network, find & meet the fifty authors of The Military Effect, and begin a journey that has profoundly changed my life. I'll be forever grateful. Words cannot describe the effect this journey has had on me. I'm honored to be a storyteller, a civilian advocate, and a friend to all the amazing active duty service, veterans & spouses I have met along the way. My heart is full :)
