Despite the nursing home minimum staffing rule being estimated to save 13,000 lives annually, some in Congress have proposed legislation to block the rule. Join me while I speak with Dr. Norma Coe who authored the paper that found mortality in nursing homes would be greatly reduced by the staffing rule. https://lnkd.in/ew7vSD7Q

Read more about how cuts to Medicaid would be a cut to Medicaid in our co-branded Justice in Aging factsheet and issue brief with the Medicare Rights Center, Center for Medicare Advocacy, and Community Catalyst. https://lnkd.in/getvHQ3v

The minimum staffing rule in nursing homes is estimated to save at least 13,000 lives annually. We must protect the rule and lives of some our most vulnerable citizens. https://lnkd.in/eiSpR4Vw
