Giving Tuesday is almost upon us, and our wonderful benefactor, Joanne Posner-Mayer, has agreed to match $2 for every $1 given up to $20,000! We know it has been a long, hard slog of a year, but if you can, please consider helping the Posner Center for International Development as we convene, connect, and catalyze the global development community for greater impact. Every dollar you give will go towards maintaining a collaborative and creative environment for the 37 nonprofit organizations that call Posner home, ultimately giving them the tools and platform necessary to increase the effectiveness of their work, both here in Denver and across the globe. Follow the link in the comments to help support, and thank you! #givingtuesday #collaboration #internationaldevelopment #globaldevelopment #nonprofit

This chapter is called….PULL TOGETHER ✨💫 #swiperight Supporting Black creatives and businesses is essential for building strong, inclusive communities where everyone’s contributions are valued. Events like AYA Foundation Harambee Annual Holiday Market give us a chance to uplift and celebrate the unique talents within our community, from artisans to designers, while directly supporting local entrepreneurs. “Harambee,” a Swahili word meaning “pull together,” captures the spirit of community, cooperation, and collective effort. This principle is all about unity and social progress, reminding us to stand together in support of Black-owned businesses. By taking part in this Pre-Small Business Saturday event, we honor the tradition of Harambee and help create a vibrant marketplace that boosts the economy and celebrates culture. Join us at the Posner Center for International Development on November 22-23 to experience the creativity of Black artisans, and let’s continue to build a community rooted in support, unity, and empowerment. #blackartist #blackowned #smallbusinessowner #supportsmallbusiness #community #bettertogether #blackentrepreneurs #entrepreneur #entrepreneurship #harambee #collective

This season, skip the ordinary and give a gift that truly matters. Consider giving SEEDS through DIG’s Gift Garden and help farmers cultivate sustainable, nutritious gardens for generations to come. DIG is committed to reconnecting our farmers to the miracle of seeds; local seeds, indigenous seeds, climate resilient seeds, seeds that can be grown, saved and shared for generations to come. By promoting local, indigenous, organic, and open-pollinating seeds, we can help ensure farmers have more control over their food security and nutrition. It’s a simple choice with a lasting impact, select SEEDS in DIG's Gift Garden and make a difference that grows. Click here to browse our Gift Garden https://lnkd.in/dvVQaVCh

We are glad part of the Macs Adventure team calls Posner Center home! Our community of international & community development organizations is enhanced by your commitment to do good as you step through your business. Congratulations! 📢 #BeCommunity
Exciting News: Macs Adventure is Now B Corp Certified! We’re proud to announce that Macs Adventure has achieved B Corp certification! This milestone reflects our deep commitment to making a positive impact through purpose-driven, sustainable travel. Self-guided travel by foot or on two wheels is at the heart of what we do—and it’s a force for good. Not only does it have a lower carbon impact, but by working with locally owned suppliers, we actively support livelihoods and foster sustainable community development. Achieving B Corp status affirms our dedication to meeting the highest standards of social, environmental, and transparent business practices. Thank you to our incredible B Corp team—Graham Horner, Lynsey Kirk, Rachel Parsons, Claire Ouditt, Erin Pattie, Dennis Schank, John Hall FCCA, Aria Nicoletti and Louise McDougall—for championing this journey. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without your hard work and passion! Here’s to creating more #MacsMoments that make a difference. #BTheChange #BCorpCertified #SustainableTravel #TravelForGood #PositiveImpact #GlobalChange #BCorp #ReinventingBusiness B Lab B Lab UK

More of this! 🫶 #BeCommunity
Last week we gathered for our second annual Impact Showcase. Despite the snow storm, over 100 people attended to learn, connect, and celebrate. We were excited to see several invaluable connections made between organizations, funders, and impact-driven individuals looking to be involved in community. From corporate connections to business advising opportunities, everyone came with something to offer. Resource sharing is central to social mission work and we are overjoyed to have fostered a thoughtful space for collaboration. As we highlighted at the event, collective giving and trust-based philanthropy are central to SVP Denver’s mission. Together, we’re not just pooling resources; we’re shifting how resources are distributed with respect for those leading on-the-ground change. Your presence and commitment remind us of the power of this movement and reinforce our mission to democratize philanthropy. SVP Denver has a goal of raising $15,000 between the organizations featured at our Impact Showcase and our Collective Impact Fund to be distributed in future grant cycles. We hope you will consider making a donation to some of these incredible organizations!
