I joined The Regenerative Marketing Movement. It started by taking part in the course called Unlearning-Marketing-as-Usual and realising I don’t have much to unlearn. It turns out that I’ve already been working on regenerative ways to promote products and services, just that I wasn't aware how it's called. Prebranding comes exactly from this mindset: how might we design meaningful narratives and authentic experiences for our products and services, in order to touch people’s hearts and genuinely connect with them? All what wrong in today's marketing like: - presenting happiness as a commodity that can be bought, human worth as something that can be elevated by products, - invasive and ever present advertisement, very often of products that are not healthy or beneficial for us, - promoting growth at all cost, and myriads of other problems with business-as-usual, may be ditched in the future, should humankind embrace regenerative renaissance. But we are still going to have products and services to promote, right? So how to do that without exploiting human beings, draining their mental energy, harming their hearts? Any ideas? :) Well, I have some and the movement also has many. And what I love about them the most is that it’s radically collaborative and run as a joyful co-creation. I will always remember many smiling faces on our weekly calls! :) There is a lot of amazing things already discovered, but so much more to learn, un-learn, re-learn. Marketeers, creatives, storytellers, designers - are invited to chip in their wisdom. We need to tap into the collective knowledge. How cool is that? As a part of movement I will be facilitating a networking workshop called: “Who is your Golden Connection?”. Would you like to join it it was open also for people, who are not part of movement, but would like to learn about it? Can’t wait! It’s delightful to be part of this.
