About us

The Resolution Project is a global non-profit fostering youth leadership development through collaborative social entrepreneurship. Founded in 2007, Resolution identifies young leaders through Social Venture Challenges and empowers them to make a positive impact today through Resolution Fellowships. Resolution Fellows receive dynamic, hands-on support to implement their ventures and to develop as socially-responsible leaders. With over 380 Resolution Fellows in 70+ countries, working in diverse, high-impact fields such as education, healthcare, human rights, water resources, and sustainability, Resolution is building a generation of leaders with a lifelong commitment to social responsibility.   • Last night was an incredibly successful 10th annual Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine Young Leaders Now Award Dinner! The event, held at The Prince George Ballroom, brought together changemakers, philanthropists, and industry leaders to honor outstanding young innovators and their impact on pressing global issues. The gala also highlighted our recent integration with Enactus Global, a strategic move that has created one of the largest global nonprofits focused on youth leadership and social entrepreneurship. The combined organization now serves over 40,000 young social entrepreneurs annually across nearly 100 countries!   • Sinnah Lamin's mission is to continue addressing health inequities, reaching women and girls in remote areas. As the founder of Caring for Girls, Sinnah has impacted the lives of over 3,000 women and girls in Sierra Leone by providing vital reproductive health education and services, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health. Sinnah is currently a student of International Health and Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford. Additionally, she has gained significant experience with international organizations. As a Princeton in Africa Fellow at the International Rescue Committee, she supports program development. She has also worked with UNICEF on an early childhood education initiative in Rwanda, Doctors Without Borders on a menstrual health project in Cameroon, and helped scale digital health solutions with a healthcare startup in Nigeria.   • The Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine Young Leaders Now Award Dinner honors outstanding changemakers who understand the value and importance of letting young people lead. We are proud to announce the four honorees we will be celebrating at the 2024 YLN Awards on October 23rd in NYC! ⭐️ Claire Coder is the Founder and CEO of Aunt Flow, who's mission is to make the world better for people with periods, stocking public bathrooms with freely accessible tampons and pads. She is this year's Young Leaders Now Awardee for her work as a young entrepreneur serving as an inspiration and role model for Resolution Fellows worldwide. ⭐️ The Champions Circle Award is presented to outstanding changemakers who have assisted young leaders and emerging innovators, either personally or through their organizations, thereby generating a sustainable, positive social impact. This year's honoree, Mary Culler is president of Ford Philanthropy, overseeing the company’s philanthropic investments through community partnerships and programming in more than 40 countries. ⭐️ The Founders' Award For Extraordinary Service is presented to dedicated longtime members of our community who helped shape Resolution Project into what it is today. Tia F. Chapman is the Deputy Director for External Affairs at The Frick Collection and a member of the Resolution Project Advisory Board. Dr. Tanya Friedman, or Dr. “T” as she is better known, is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, focusing on the treatment of children, adults, and families and has served as a board member at Resolution Project.
