We’re a non-profit, international scientific society with more than 1700 members dedicated to fostering research and education in the field of RNA science. We host a peer-reviewed scientific journal, RNA, and an annual scientific conference, along with sponsoring other RNA-related scientific conferences through direct financial support and student travel grants. Mostly, we are a community of scientists who are passionate about better understanding the fascinating world of RNA biology and chemistry.

We are pleased to announce registration for RNA 2025 - the 30th Annual Meeting of the RNA Society - is now open! https://lnkd.in/euxF4fdt This year’s meeting will be held at the beautiful Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in sunny San Diego, California, USA from May 27th - June 1st, 2025. RNA 2025 will offer 5 days of scientific sessions (125+ oral and more than 600 poster presentations), highlighted by keynote lectures from distinguished colleagues: Ling-Ling Chen (Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry and Cell Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China) Matt Disney (The Herbert Wertheim UF Scripps Institute for Biomedical Innovation & Technology, USA) Tracy Johnson (University of California - Los Angeles, USA) Erin Schuman (Max Plank Institute for Brain Research, Germany) Additional highlights include presentations from our 2025 RNA Society Award winners, a Meet the RNA journal Editor information session, and special panels hosted by the RNA Society Committee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and RNA Society Junior Scientists group.
