"In the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we are often encouraged to, “remember the reason for the season.” At The Seeing Eye, we share many photos of our very special and much-loved pups, but we never forget our “reason” is the extraordinary people we serve. Each year, hundreds of partnerships are only possible due to the year-round gifts of our generous puppy raisers and donors, the expertise of an unbelievably dedicated staff and the students who choose a Seeing Eye dog to be their steadfast companion. Whether your “reason” is faith, family, friends, nature, or relaxation, I wish you moments of peace and joy this holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Thank you for being part of The Seeing Eye community and your passion for its mission. We couldn’t do what we do without each and every one of you. • "Everything changed when I was paired with my first Seeing Eye® dog in 2001," explains Seeing Eye graduate and Trustee Pat McKenna, "Since then, everyday tasks like exploring my neighborhood and getting to and from law school changed from challenges to opportunities filled with confidence and joy."     We are so thankful to all our donors and hope you will continue your incredible compassion and support by making a gift today, which will be DOUBLED due to our holiday match. https://lnkd.in/eFpVAH2A     VD: The video begins with Seeing Eye graduate Pat McKenna sitting by a fireplace with his retired yellow Lab Seeing Eye dog and his current black Lab Seeing Eye dog. Then, it transitions to showing the various places Pat's Seeing Eye dogs have guided him, including busy sidewalks, trails, and crosswalks with his young son by his side, his workplace, the Lego store, and his neighborhood.

  • Rolling out the red carpet 🎥     We recently had the wonderful opportunity to attend the series premiere of Extraordinary World with Jeff Corwin. Our Seeing Eye puppies and dogs in training loved greeting all the guests, including representatives from the Hearst Media Production Group, The Brady Hunter Foundation, and Dylan's Candy Bar.      Extraordinary World premieres on Saturday, January 4, on CBS and Paramount+ and exemplifies animal advocacy, conservation, and empowerment stories.     VD: The video features three Seeing Eye puppies, a yellow Lab, a German shepherd, and a yellow Lab/golden cross, as well as black and yellow Lab Seeing Eye dogs in training at the Extraordinary World premiere. The puppies and dogs receive lots of love and pets from the attendees.
